Program: Advanced Part I: Using the Format Menu: using family tree templates, creating biographies and other notes, adding pictures
to your biographies, using different text fonts and sizes, using framing and lines options, and changing maps for great family presentations.

Instructor: Ceil Damshroder.
Location: Loveland Senior Center
Program Content: Need direction to begin or continue working on your genealogy? Come and
learn what the possibilities are, what information there is to find and where
to find it. Topics will include how to research the following records: census,
vital, military, land, immigration and naturalization. Advice will be given on
how to organize your research. Tips on searching the web and the most
productive websites will be shared.

or stop by the Chilson Recreation Center at 700 East Fourth Street in Loveland.

Bookshelf (BBS).
The Larimer Genealogical Society (LCGS) is bringing back the
Basement Bookshelf (BBS).
The BBS is a list of
genealogy books, CDs or other documents, which LCGS members and a few former
members have agreed to share with others.
The list is alphabetical, by title and includes title,
author, some notes and a brief description of the contents (in most cases).
Anyone interested in any of these listed publication, or has
any questions about the BBS should contact the Chairman of the BBS committee by
emailing arapahoe88@frii.com or
phoning 970-482-8643; and the chairman will put you in contact with the owner
of the item.

- Indexes to Genealogy Reference Book Reviews are now available.
Thanks to Ginny Feagler, Librarian at the Fort Collins Main Library, the Genealogy Reference
Books have been reveiewed. The books reviewed in this list are located in the Genealogy Reference collection at the Main
Branch of the Fort Collins Public Library. The book reviews include the title, call number, a description, and in some cases
an explanation of the entries. Not all books in the Genealogy Reference collection have been reviewed. If you have any
questions or suggestions, please contact Ginny Feagler at 221-6380.

- Transportation is now available.
Want to attend the Larimer County Genealogical Society's monthly meetings at the
Harmony Library - but do not have
a means of transportation? or do not want to drive at night? or would like some company to go with?
Well the Society
has a group of volunteers ready to provide transportation. If you should need a ride,
please contact Kathy Patrick at 206-1664 and she will arrange for someone to pick you up.
A 48 hour notice
would be appreciated.
