Preface
The Index of Marriages in Larimer County, Colorado represents a list of marriages that took place
in the county during the years 1858 through 1910
The Index, which lists more than 3400 marriages, is divided into two parts: 1) an alphabetical list
in which the name of the Groom is shown first followed by the name of the Bride and, 2) an
alphabetical list in which the name of the Bride is shown first, followed by the name of the Groom.
In both lists the date of marriage and the date on which the marriage was filed are shown.
It should be pointed out that it was not until 1909 that Jackson County was split off from Larimer
County. As a result, many of the marriages appearing in the Index may actually have taken place in
what is now Jackson County.
The Larimer County Genealogical Society and the Larimer County Recorder’s Office do not
guarantee accuracy for any marriage in this database. Both parties have verified the marriage ledgers
as accurately as possible. If any reader has information or corrections to add to any listed individual,

Please note: There have been eleven marriages that occurred prior to 1910 and are listed in the
Larimer County , Colorado, Index to Marriages Volume 2, 1910-1950. It appears that these
marriages were not officially recorded until after 1910
