Class: Celebrate Thanksgiving with Researching Your Ancestors!

This free one hour program is offered by the Windsor Public Library on Tuesday, November 7 from noon to 1 pm. This genealogy program will be for all adults (18+). Join us to “Celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving by delving into your ancestral roots at this class hosted by the Larimer County Genealogical Society (LCGS).

Class Description

LCGS Education Chair and genealogy instructor Bob Larson will present an overview of all the available record collections to research your genealogy. Librarian Sarah Strawn will provide what available genealogy resources are available a this library. Handouts will be available.

Robert (Bob) Larson is an instructor, library volunteer, Education Chair, and past president for Larimer County Genealogical Society. Bob was also past president of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies in Denver.  He has been researching genealogy for over 23 years. Bob published his first family history 210 page book, “The Coffin-Pierson Legacy” in 2007, comprised of six generations with the help of 30 cousins.
