When you tell stories about your ancestors, what kind of information do you include? What stories do you tell and how do you tell them? This presentation will give you some ideas on writing rich details about emigration, immigration/Ellis Island, and homesteading, including photographs-passage through time, and demographics.
Susie Wickman was originally from North Dakota, but she has called Colorado home for almost 30 years. Her interest in genealogy began when she received a box of pictures after her parents died, in 2002. She is passionate about genealogy and she shares ways to help write and map family history on her
blog www.genealogyjourney.net. She feels that it is the stories that are going to be important to get our children and grandchildren interested in their family history. She wants to help you tell your stories. She currently works as a background investigator facilitating security clearances.
