Our December 4 GSG Meeting will again be a Hybrid meeting, both in-person and via Zoom. We will be meeting at 55Resort at 500 Apex Drive in Windsor. For those who attended meetings at Good Samaritan Senior Living, 55Resort is about one-half mile further South on 7th Street. We will meet in the theater which is accessible by entering the lobby and proceeding to the top of the stairs.
The meeting will start at 10:30 AM and should last about one hour.
I will be forwarding a Zoom registration notice early next week.
We will be discussing the German research site, CompGen, which is essentially a collection of Genealogy data bases. I will be demonstrating the use of some of the data bases by using names and locations
submitted by our members. Please submit two or three names of German Ancestors along with the town or village where they lived. If you have both the town/village name and the German State in which it is located,
that is preferred. As an example: Kissingen, Bayern/Bavaria; Sprendlingen, Hessen/Hesse; Lingen, Preussen/Prussia. Please send your submissions NLT Wednesday, November 24. I apologize for the short notice.
