Registration is required for this class, please register below.
Presented by: Diane Barbour (photo above)
There are so many resources available to researchers today. Have you thought about using online books? Did you know there are other types of media available to us? Videos, audio recordings and others are coming online and are becoming accessible to us. This lecture covers four websites currently available to use. They are adding new material on a daily basis. Learn how to use these websites and become familiar with some of the wonderful items they have to share with us.
Diane has been doing genealogy for about 17 years. In June 2012, she graduated from the National Institute of Genealogical Studies at the University of Toronto to complete her Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies or PLCGS. This certificate represents 50 completed classes in methodology, American records and English records. Diane continues her education by attending several conferences and Institutes every year. She is the past President of Broomfield Genealogical Society and currently on the education committee for Boulder Genealogical Society and Longmont Genealogical Society. Diane also volunteers at the Denver Public Library 5th floor genealogy department and the National Archives in Broomfield.
Everyone that is interested in genealogy or family history is welcome!
