Be sure to attend the annual Live Involved resource fair in the Prairie Sage room at the Fort Collins Senior Center (1200 Raintree Blvd) on January 14 from 10 am to 2 pm. This resource fair connects attendees to the many non-profit organizations in Larimer Conty. No registration is required. Lots of free parking at the Senior Center!
The City of Fort Collins Recreation department, in partnership with AARP would like to invite you to join us as an interactive booth member at our spectacular event, Live Involved! Live Involved is an event that encourages middle aged or older adults to explore life enrichment opportunities in their community. These enrichment opportunities promote enhanced community engagement and improve social wellbeing in adults through different hobby groups, interest groups, volunteerism, social opportunities, and a variety of activity groups.
Each hobby, volunteer opportunity, interest group, or activity group will have its own interactive table. The tables are the most important part! Each avocation provides the potential to better a community member’s life through participation. Hobbies continue to provide purpose in an individual’s life creating better quality of life through reduced stress, improved physical health, and those critical social connections.
Our genealogy society will have a table for showing how fun genealogy research can be in searching for your ancestors!
