Speaker Carol Stetser (shown above) will present “Cemetery Research” and will discuss various methods on cemetery research using photos from the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins. Carol will share some tips and tools for making the most out of your research trip to a cemetery.
Carol is a genealogy instructor, genealogy column writer for 50 Plus Marketplace News, library volunteer at Old Town Library in Fort Collins, and our society’s researcher. She gives presentations to societies and conferences in Colorado and Wyoming and is a member of several societies in Colorado besides being a member of the Council Tree DAR in Windsor.
If members can’t attend this program, our society records the program for viewing during the following three weeks. This is a great benefit for our members who can’t attend, are located elsewhere or want to see the program again. Members receive an email with the instructions to access the video.
Please bring a relative or friend interested in genealogy or family history. Open to the public, but consider joining our society to learn more about researching your ancestors!
