Study Group Description
Study Group Leader Bob Larson and several panelists will discuss “CyberSecurity Basics for All Genealogists.” CyberSecurity is becomng more popular as many computer users are being hacked by either clicking on a link or responding to a ghost email. Bob and several panelists will detail several methods on how do detect suspicious links or email ghosting plus the latest methods to protect yourself from hackers on your computer or smartphone. After each presentation, Bob will review any technology issue with the study group.

Host Bob Larson will review the latest technologies recently released by Family Tree Maker, MyHeritage, Waze Road Conditions app, AI update, and any technology issues you may have.
Bob was a former systems engineer and certified instructor for Motorola Inc. He is currently our society’s Education Chair and Video-Web Committee Chair. He has been researching his genealogy for over 25 years.
