Our aim is to actually write!—write our family stories. We may comment on the stories after they are presented, but we are not “professional” writers seeking to critique our writing. There are other sources for studying writing technique and style. We welcome an individual’s own way of writing about their forebears, and we will comment as we are moved. The group is a great source of discipline to write—the monthly deadline encourages it.
At our October 13 meeting starting at 2 pm on Zoom, we will review several family history stories written by our members.
